Games to come in 2011

Crysis 222nd March, 2011
is set in New York City[4] in the year 2023 (three years after the events of the first game), which has since been evacuated due to alien infestation. Similar to its predecessor, Crysis 2 will provide freedom to customize weaponry and abilities. Crytek wanted to avoid making another game set in a jungle environment, as were Far Cry and Crysis; New York City has been dubbed an "urban jungle". The urban atmosphere offers more options in how to progress and plan attacks. Players will be able to navigate between floors and buildings, as well as destroy cityscape.
Players will play as "Alcatraz", a Green Beret, the new successor of "Nomad", from the first game, although there has been speculation that "Alcatraz" may just be Nomad's new codename to stay anonymous to Crynet.[citation needed] The protagonist steals the Nanosuit 2 from Crynet Systems. As a consequence, Crynet Systems starts a manhunt for the player. The Nanosuit 2 gives players more freedom in their options of how to tackle situations on the battlefield. The aliens have also undergone major redesigning, transforming the floating warriors from the first game into the even more lethal, armored bipedal war machines that stalk the ravaged New York. Crytek has stated their intention to surpass the original game graphically and have noted that combat in the game will be "catastrophically beautiful".[5] Crytek has also claimed that Crysis 2 will have lower system requirements than the original game[6] and also support stereoscopic 3D.[7]

Nanosuit 2
Crytek has teased the redesigned Nanosuit, called "NANOSUIT 2" in an advertising brochure, created by the fictional Crynet Systems company, the creators of the first Nanosuits.[8] The new Nanosuit supports new and upgraded features. However, suit functionality has been streamlined; there will be a period of time where players are able to use multiple power modes simultaneously before the suit fully restricts. This is an extension of suit functionality in the first game, in which speed mode could be combined with strength mode for a single long-distance jump. There are two trailers, with one trailer showing the suit in a wire-frame state,[9] the other showing the suit in a complete state.[10] The suit is to feature many improvements over its predecessor, giving players freedom to upgrade their suits based on their own style of combat.[11]
PC Gamer magazine published a preview of Crysis 2, showing a park and a destroyed city street with an alien device in the centre. In the article's interview Crytek hints at how the game will have "increased verticality" and will be set in a "new type of jungle" (New York City, a "concrete jungle").

Limited Edition
The Limited Edition of Crysis 2 will be available at the same price as the regular game, but in limited quantities. It comes with bonus experience points to "immediately boost the player up to Rank 5, giving access to all the preset class loadouts,"[14] a digital camo weapon skin for the SCAR, "Hologram Decoy" attachment for the SCAR, and unique in-game platinum dog tags.

Nano Edition

The Nano Edition of Crysis 2, which is only available through pre-order, includes the Limited Edition copy of the game in a Steelbook case, an 11" statue of Prophet posed on top of a New York taxi, an art book, and a Nanosuit backpack "modeled after the in-game super suit." As of September 26, 2010, the Nano Edition is available for pre-order on the EA website.

Dead Space 2
is a survival horror game that takes place on a densely populated space station, dubbed the "Sprawl". The mental illness caused by the Marker appears to be permanent and continues to have an effect on the protagonist Isaac Clarke. The Church of Unitology and the government will continue to have a place in the storyline. The game will begin in a hospital on board the Sprawl. Players will witness the horror of the Necromorph infection as it begins in the station.[9]

Killzone 3February 22, 2011.
The game picks up immediately after the ending of Killzone 2 and follows the previous games' main protagonist, Sev, a Special Forces operative fighting for the Interplanetary Strategic Alliance against the Helghast Empire. The game continues shortly after Sev successfully defeated Radec and Rico having killed Visari, the Helghast dictator who leaves them to a fleet of Helghast ships approaching them destroying ISA vessels.
The death of their dictator has left the Helghast Empire in a state of internal struggle. Now, Sev and his comrade Rico are trapped in the cross-fire between the various political factions without any reinforcements and are left to fight alone in order to escape as the ISA struggles to regroup its forces.[3] The game will also give players a deeper look in to Helghan culture such as their language and showcase whatever humanity they have left within them.
Killzone 3's story will also be more light-hearted compared to its predecessor, which Guerrilla felt suffered from an overly serious and dark story which was one of the major complaints of the original, though they mentioned that it would not be too light-hearted as it is still a war. In addition, Guerrilla Games has hired an external writer to focus on only writing the storyline so as to give a fresh perspective to the story as well as hiring a lot more Hollywood actors to elevate the level of storytelling within the dialogue of the game.[4]

Game Play
The gameplay will strongly resemble that of Killzone 2 albeit with several tweaks and changes. Similar to the first Killzone, the game will take place in various harsh environments such as Arctic landscapes, a lethal alien jungle, nuclear wastelands as well as space battles rather than only the city-scape environments which were present in Killzone 2. Another notable new feature is the ability to use jet packs in the game, which were seen in Killzone: Liberation, however, these new jet packs will be used in a different manner than that of those that appeared in Killzone: Liberation.
The game will also feature a revamped close combat melee system which include new brutal melee attacks as well as the ability to string together multiple attacks in a combo.[5] Killzone 3 will feature fully destructible environments which is an improvement from its predecessor, which featured only partially destructible environments in limited areas.[7] A new weapon called the WASP has also been revealed, which acts as a multi-firing Rocket Launcher.[8] In the July 2010 edition of GameInformer Magazine, it was revealed that the WASP rocket launcher will have a primary fire and a secondary fire, which leaves to speculation that secondary fire for various weapons will return as seen in the original Killzone.
Portal 2
the player returns as Chell, having been in stasis for several hundred years while GLaDOS and the rest of the Aperture Science facility has fallen into disrepair. Chell is awakened by one of GLaDOS's personality cores, and inadvertently wakes GLaDOS; GLaDOS is immediately displeased at Chell's return and begins testing her again through numerous chambers as she rebuilds the dilapidated facility. Portal 2 continues to challenge the player through numerous platforming and physics-based puzzles using the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device (ASHPD, also dubbed the "portal gun"), a device that can create a temporary hole between any two flat surfaces. Other gameplay elements are added to Portal 2 including tractor beams, laser redirection, and special paint-like gels, taken from the Independent Games Festival-winning DigiPen student project Tag: The Power of Paint, that imparts special properties to objects it touches such as increased momentum. Portal 2 also includes a two-player co-operative mode, each player-character a robot that has become self-aware from GLaDOS' influence, and requires the players to work together with their own portal guns to complete each level.
Plot
Portal 2 takes place hundreds of years after the first game. Despite her apparent destruction at the end of Portal, GLaDOS, an artificial intelligence computer system, is "still alive". The player controls Chell, the same protagonist from Portal; retroactively patched just prior to the sequel's official announcement, the ending of the first game shows Chell being dragged away by an unseen figure with a robotic voice, where she has been placed in stasis over the years.[3] The game will again take place in the Aperture Science Labs, untouched by human hands but overrun by decay and nature.[3] The player will interact with many of the numerous personality cores (which were seen activating in Portal's conclusion), which have become active and become independent from GLaDOS in the intervening years, using the automated systems of Aperture Science to create their own microcosms within the facility.[3] The cores themselves are only able to move through overhead rail systems. Chell is awoken by one of these, Wheatley, who has become concerned for the state of decay and seeks to correct it. Wheatley acts as the player's guide during the tutorial and initial stages. Soon, the two encounter the dormant GLaDOS and accidentally wake her; the computer accuses Chell of murdering her years ago.[3] GLaDOS begins to rebuild the ruined facility, and puts Chell under more tests, stating "I think we can put our differences behind us. For science. You monster."[18][19]
Two new characters will be introduced for the two-player cooperative mode, which will have its own unique plot and setting.[13] These two characters are a modified turret gun and a personality core; both units are bipedal and equipped with their own portal guns.[3] Though once part of the networked facility, they have become separate entities and are treated to similar abuse by GLaDOS through a series of complicated test chambers through her "Cooperative Testing Initiative".[3][20] They are not yet named, and Valve has stated they may leave them nameless on the game's final release,[21] though in pre-release demonstrations of the game, GLaDOS is heard calling them "Participants" Orange and Blue.[15] The robots will not have any distinguishable dialog though will have "expressive noises" according to Valve's Doug Lombardi.[21] From previews, the robots' mannerisms suggest a double act similar to Laurel and Hardy, according to some journalists.[11] GLaDOS appears to be troubled by the robots working together, and will attempt to aggravate their relationship through verbal trickery such as praising one robot over the other.
Rune Factory Oceans
Players control a male and female character in one, the male side named Azel and the female side named Sonia, as they traverse the seas on a giant beast named Ymir. The beast can raise sunken islands and ships from the sea. Players will be able to farm, fight using a real-time battle system, and form relationships.

Valkyria Chronicles III
Taking place during the Second Europan War, Valkyria Chronicles III focuses on Gallian Army Squad 442, also known as "The Nameless". The Nameless are a penal military unit composed of deserters, criminals, and military offenders whose real names are erased from the records and thereon referred to by numbers. Ordered by the Gallian military to perform the most dangerous missions and dirty work that the Regular Army and Militia will not do, they are nevertheless up to the task, exemplified by their motto, "Altaha Abilia" ("Always Ready" in Latin.)
The three main characters, Kurt Irving (Number 7), a disgraced army officer who wishes to redeem himself, Imca (Ace Number 1), a Darcsen Heavy Weapon specialist who seeks revenge against the Valkyrian who destroyed her home, and Riela Marceris (Number 13), a young woman who is viewed as a jinx for being the only the survivor of many army units she has been assigned, is unknowingly a descendant of the Valkyria, are tasked to fight against a mysterious Imperial unit known as "Calamity Raven".
Gameplay
The Japanese demo showcases the new SP system.
An SP can be expended when certain characters begin their action phase in order to benefit from special abilities for that one phase.
No. 1 (Imca) can use a special mortar that targets every enemy in her field of view when fried.
No. 13 (Riela) activates her Valkyria powers and is rendered immune to enemy interception fire as well as being able to use a powerful single-target attack.
No. 7 (Kurt) gains the ability to have nearby allied infantry follow & fight with him during his action phase. The benefits of this are threefold: First, it allows other infantry to move without expending an additional CP. Second, less mobile units gain the movement range of a shocktrooper. Third, units 'lead' in this way can all lend supporting fire when Kurt attacks, including units that normally would be unable to (snipers & lancers for example.) Constraints like ammunition and range still apply.

These are only a few out of the 14 expected.

Brian Warner/Manson

Manson went almost completly all natural -except for the liner under his eyes- while attending court. When not being charged for rediculous reasons that are the fans or misinterpritations fault, he dons a crazy array of strange, yet interesting makeup.

Jokes on the Needle

Why so serious about this? The face is joker-related, but not entirely exact. B-. You can find this at Stumble. It's a creepy similarity to the villain though. i wouldn't own it for all the tea in Super Mario World.

You'll Never Walk Alone

With a few faces on these you should already know you're watching where you're going. These are neato, but the choice of comic upon the toe box should be broadened greatly.

Tea Anyone?

You can find this at Stumble where you'll be able to find so many other interesting or rediculous items.

Witchblade the tv series

Does anyone remember Witchblade? The show that starred Yancy Butler. Dispite Butler admitting to being an alcoholic, and that that problem delayed production for 3wks at one point, I would like to see the show continued. Only with the twist of where it picks up with Pezz and Jake a couple and Jakie from Darkness fathers a child with her so that his power does not destroy him 21 yrs later. That would be nice.

Would you like the same cast through and through or make a few changes? Who would you take out? Who would you add.

I'd watch it.

OMG!

Does anyone remember The Gummy Bears cartoon?? I freaking loved it!

If this would some how (hint hint networks) come back on, i'd deff be watching again.

Tattoos

Do you have any game related tatoos? I do! I've got Pacman, GAMEOVER, Nintendo paddle. And I used to have GMR on one side of my hands - that part that's below the outside of your left pinky; and the infinity symbol on the other. So when I put my hands together (fist into palm-like bow), it said GAMER forever. Sadly to say, this was done with glow in the dark ink and faded. I was really disappointed, but I'd get it again if I could. Not like it hurt all that much. It even glowed under the blue of the blue screen your TV gets when using the Video channel. hahaha

Welcome to the Game Room

This the first post on my second blog, filled with things of games, comic books, movies, related music and so on. Hope you enjoy and no 1UP-ing the comment box, thank you. Keep your language moderate and your mind open.
